A nice row of trees near the Tuolumne River in Tuolumne Meadows Yosemite NP, CA. This was my first time shoting at this spot so I was trying all kinds of comps. This was one that I liked.

One of my favourite rural roads in our community. Low clouds above the tree line created sporadic snowfall April 15th.

Trees are much like human beings and enjoy each other's company. Only a few love to be alone.

Chorisia speciosa, the chorisia or silk floss tree

Snails are known for not being fast. So it begs to be asked, "How long did it take to climb this tree?"

The well-known Hallerbos (Belgium). My friend and I climbed on a pile of tree logs to get this angle.

On a clear November day, the morning sun-light poured in to light the Higger Tree, revealing it's fine detail of lichen as it stretched it's arms in the warmth of the sun. The tips of the grasses shone too like a carpet of dancing jewels at the feet of Higger Tor.

I don't know about this.

All I know is that I'm obsessed with trees

The effect of constant wind on tree growth. There are more extreme examples, but these are well rooted in good soil.

I like the way German forests are never completely bereft of colour in the winter - there's always a bit of red from the beech leaves. Of course, in infrared the colour is even more pronounced, and the tree trunks look almost like charcoal drawings.

American tree sparrows were pretty happy to see me today, with the frigid temps we have been having they were hungry and waiting for me to give them seed! You know its cold when you see the birds tucking one leg up into his under-carriage! lol!
